I was scheduled for a c-section on May 22 due to Tyler being in the complete breech position for about two months."

"That evening, while celebrating my husband's birthday with a full-course steak dinner, I started to feel my stomach get tense and had a sharp pain on my side. My first thought was that I ate way too much food."

"I excused myself and made my way to the bathroom and when I thought I was going to have a stomach issue, my water broke. I called my husband upstairs and told him what happened and he started up the truck so we could get to the hospital. "

"Once I got to the hospital, the staff checked me in and got me situated into a labor/delivery room to check me out. They asked me a lot of questions and to see if I had any aches/pains during the day. I told them that I had pain in the lower back all day. Turns out I was in labor since early that morning and I did not know that. Next thing I knew, the doctor came in to see how far I was dilated and to get me prepped for the c-section. This was the first time I met with Dr. Perrotti, and he was great."

"We got to the delivery room and he told me everything that he was doing to me and my husband even helped with the delivery since he is an EMT."

"Upon delivery of our son, I found out that I was anemic and ended up on the operating table a little longer than normal. I was a little concerned, but Dr. Perrotti told me that everything was going well and that he had to stitch me up a little more than normal c-sections."

"I did heal from the surgery and have a beautful son. My husband proudly tells everyone that he was born on his birthday and that he is the best birthday present anybody could have given him."
