I wasn't quite sure what to think at first because my husband and I had an almost two-year-old daughter and things were very busy at our house. After the pregnancy sank in, I became more and more excited, hoping this pregnancy would be better than my first. My daughter was born a month early and I had a lot of complications with the pregnancy."

"When I was 20 weeks, my husband and I decided to find out the sex of the baby. A "boy", we were so excited ... one of each."

"Everything with the pregnancy was going well until I was half way through. My blood pressure was high at almost every doctor visit and my legs and feet were swollen. The doctors just told me to take it easy, they we not diagnosing me with anything yet."

"When I was approximately 38 weeks, my doctor decided to induce me at 39 weeks ... even though I was due in a week, I wasn't showing any signs of being in labor but my blood pressure was continuing to get high and the swelling in my feet and legs was still there."

"On March 26th, I was scheduled to be induced. I went to the hospital at 8 a.m. and was 1cm dilated. I was induced after 9 a.m. I went home and was told to come back at 1 p.m. to see if it worked. When my husband and I returned to the hospital at 1 p.m., I was 4 cm dilated and my contractions were every three minutes. I never had contractions like that with my first child so this was a new experience. The doctor said we are having the baby today instead of March 27th."

"Caine Michael was born at 5:15 p.m. weighing at 8lbs, 2.8 oz and was 20 inches long. He was so beautiful. Even though this was my second child, I still needed some guidance as to bathing him and how to clean him after circumcision. The nurses in labor and delivery and in recovery were great. I really appreciate everything they did for my son and I during our two day stay."
