I arrived at the hospital in the morning to receive the first dose of gel to induce labor. I received that dose and left with my husband to have lunch and run errands before returning for the second gel application. The second one wasn't needed, however, as my water broke while we were finishing lunch."

"So we returned to the hospital, where I was admitted right away. I was already 2 cm, but not having contractions, so I was given pitocin to help get the labor moving. I felt great about that decision and was amazed at how quickly everything moved after that."

"After having such a difficult pregnancy, it was a relief to have the labor and delivery go so smoothly."
